I click on my favorites and there is nothing there.
This has happened before.

version of operating system do you use?
 
For Windows XP Operating system the default location where the Favorites is stored is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\ Favorites.
For Windows Vista Operating system the default location where the Favorites is stored is:
C:\Users\Username\ Favorites.
You can import the favorites from this location which ever is applicable to your Operating system.


To import favorites

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.
