Chkdsk runs at every boot after initial run

Originally I went into the disk formatting menu and I selected my two hard drives for disk checking.
 
My first hard drive is a SSD which has my windows files and programmes.
My second disk is a data disc with music, pictures and videos, etc.
 
When I selected "Check disc" on my SSD I was given the option to "schedule a boot scan" (or something similar) and I selected this.
When I selected "check disc" on my hard drive I first got an option to "force dismount" and then got the "schedule a boot
scan" option.
 
Anyway, so I restarted my computer and the scan ran fine, After the scan finished the computer restarted again and the scan started to run again (but I stopped it by pressing the space bar). 
 
Now it seems to be running every time.
 
So, I don't think I actually have anything wrong with either disc since I ran it just to make sure before I started a full backup.
I don't want to use one of the solutions that permanenetly disables check disc.
 
Any suggestions?

This is the normal procedure when chkdsk continually runs at start up.
Click the Windows Orb (Start) > All Programs > Accessories and right-click Command Prompt, then ‘Run as Administrator’, now type CHKNTFS /D (the capitals are for clarity only) and press
Alternatively, go to the Windows Orb (Start), type regedit and press Enter.
In the left pane navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager.
In the right pane double-click BootExecute and change the value from something like
‘autocheck autochk * /p \??\C:’ to ‘autocheck autochk *’ (not the quotation marks).
