Ideas:Have a Dell Studio XPS running 64-bit Windows 7.
Machine has been running great until recently.
Now, I have to make several attempts to start the thing as it will start to boot up and suddenly shut down like the plug was pulled.
Sometimes it will power
up and start booting up again and sometimes I have to press the power button to restart it.
I have run all the diagnostic software and find nothing.
System Restore will not fix the issue either.
It will start in Safe Mode.
I disabled 99% of the programs in
the start folder, but it has not helped.
After several attempts and several minutes of time, it will eventually start and run fine.
