I HAVE A HP5325 UK SLIMLINE 10 DAYS OLD I HAD A PROBLEM AT WEEKEND AFTER INSTALING A WEB CAM FIXED THEM THEN HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS SO I DID A RECOVERY MANAGER INSTALL NOW MY PC WILL NOT LET ME DOWLNLOAD UPDATES FROM HP GIVING ME THE ERROR ABOVE ALSO IT WILL
NOT LET MY HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAMME WHICH IS ALREADY ON THE PC TO USE THIS PROGRAMME WILL NOT RUN WHEN IT WAS ALL FINE BEFORE THE RECOVERY THE PROGRAMME TRYS TO RUN THEN SAYS HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC UNABLE TO RUN WINDOWS IS CHECKING FOR ANSWER PLEASE COULD

Since the computer is only 10 days old, I would contact HP for Support.
Especially since the only programs that won't run are HP Programs or Diagnostics.
They will support their product and be able to help with the error code you have.

Windows Error Reporting - To Fix Cannot download Updates from HP or run HP Hardware Diagnostic Program.

1. Go to Start button.
2. Open Control Panel.
3. Go to Windows Error Reporting.
4. Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
5. Next, click Change Settings located on the left side panel of the Problem Reports and Solutions window.
6. Select an option to configure how you want Windows to look for a solution to your problems. You may allow Windows to do it automatically or ask you every time to check if problem occurs.
7. Next, click the Advanced settings link.
8. Select Off to turn off Error Reporting.
