I installed vista ultimate with service pack one and installed all the necessary updates.
now when I want to log on hotmail he advice me to download IE 8 but when I try to install it it gives me a message that IE 8 is not supported on this version of windows
.
wat do I have to do to install IE8 on vista ultimate SP! 32 bit computer.

The
System Requirements say IE8 should work with SP1 installed.
Perhaps it is because support for SP1 ended on July 12, 2011 and IE8 may not download without installation of Service
Pack 2 for Vista
End of support for Vista with SP2 does not end until April 11, 2017.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to "Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab".
- Uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions".
- Click "Apply".
- Reboot your computer.
