Hello friends, I have just one partition in my laptop running windows 7, which has been converted to dynamic from basic, accidently .
I am not able to change it back to basic from dynamic now.
help !!

Are you able to boot the computer?
If you’re able to boot the computer and access the data on the drive then I would suggest you to backup the data and follow the steps provided in the following article to change a dynamic disk back to a basic disk using the Windows interface.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
