Backup and Restore Center: The last file backup did not complete successfully. 0x80070005
The backup did not complete successfully
An error occurred.
The following information might help you resolve the error:
Access is denied.
(0x80070005)
This is the first time that this error has happened on my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 HP PC when I try to back up files using the Backup and Restore Center.
Before this, I have successfully backed up files to an external HDD many times now.
I have tried retrying it a few times but the error still occurs.
One thing to note is that before this error occurred I experienced another error in which my external HDD ran out of space, so I reformatted the external HDD and restarted the backup process,
and this error (0x80070005) has been occurring ever since.
All along during previous successful updates, my Antivirus software AVG
has been running and I have been using one User Account with no password and User Account Control turned off.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
